In the last few weeks, Jezebel:

• started crawling
• learned to say “bye-bye” and wave (though she often waves with her palm toward herself rather than the other way around)
• learned to say “thank you” — though it sounds more like “ta-to”

I say “bye-bye” counts as her first word, but Joel says “dada” and “mama” are her first words.  I don’t think she knows what those sounds mean yet (Joel disagrees) while she definitely connects “bye-bye” with waving.

She also knows the meaning of “kitty” and “puppy” because when we say them she starts looking around for Emma and Modem.
